Whats in the Tour?

Belmont Farm was once a plantation and the tour will begin with a brief introduction to its rich history.  Currently a working farm, visitors will be introduced to our livestock which include Katahdin/Dorper Sheep, Dairy Goats, Ducks, our miniature Zebu Bull and Axle the Farm Dog!  Visitors will be able to see and participate in a milking session with one of our dairy goats during milking season (usually March - September.  Visitors will also be able to interact with some of the livestock and feed them treats!   After the Tour our visitors are invited to browse around our Farm Store or share a picnic they prepared on the grounds!   PLEASE NOTE: Children are expected to be well behaved, this is for the safety of the child and our livestock, as well as the enjoyment of all participants! Please talk to your chlld(ren) before the tour if you think this will be an issue. If a child seems to have consistent trouble following the rules they will be asked to leave the tour and be accompanied by an adult in your group to a sit in a waiting area.
